The Club Wall Light A simple design, shown at it The Club Wall Light

A simple design, shown at its best by @jill_house_home

In natural light, the details and finish speak for themselves, and once lit, it creates a soft pool of light that works just as well for atmosphere as it does for practical task lighting.

Equally at home hung alone or in a sequence across a kitchen or dining room, it’s a versatile wall light designed to fit easily into everyday living.
Made in our workshop. The Edgeware Spotligh Made in our workshop.

The Edgeware Spotlight is formed on our spinning machine, where a flat sheet of metal is carefully rotated and shaped over a mould to create its distinctive profile. This precise process allows us to control the proportions and achieve clean, consistent lines.

By making each component in-house, we can refine the details and finish at every stage, resulting in a reliable, well-made spotlight designed for everyday use.

Hung in a row above the island, each generous hand-blown glass dome brings presence without weight, allowing the space to feel open and considered. Clean lines and honest materials give it a timeless simplicity that works effortlessly across different kitchen styles.

Our Putney Wall Light range is designed to work throughout the home. Shown here outdoors in Antique Brass, in Beeswax for interiors, and finished in Nickel for the bathroom, each version shares the same curved swan neck and hand-blown fluted glass shade.

IP rated options make it suitable for bathrooms and outdoor settings, while the interior design brings the same clean lines and reflective quality to kitchens, living spaces and bedrooms. A practical, well-balanced light that moves easily from room to room.

A design that continues to make a statement.

Our Sussex Pendant Light is an enduring favourite, admired for its sculptural wheat sheaf form and elegance. Inspired by Regency décor, the design has been carefully refined into a more pared-back silhouette that feels balanced and timeless.

Forged from iron and hand finished in our Old Gold paint, the Sussex has a gentle sheen that catches the light beautifully without overpowering a space. Its intricate form draws the eye, making it an ideal feature light for bedrooms and living rooms in both period and modern homes.

Every one of our wall lights begins with a considered design process, and the Grantham is no exception. Inspired by the ornate plaster ceiling roses found in Regency homes, its decorative backplate features a traditional floral motif, carefully refined through drawings, prototypes and detailed sampling before final approval.

It’s this thoughtful, time-honoured process, refined over 30 years, that has shaped our collection of over 200 wall light designs.

The Smugglers Wall Light is one of our earliest designs and remains a firm favourite today. Hand forged from solid brass or iron, it has a reassuring weight and a quiet elegance that speaks to its handmade nature.

Inspired by traditional Georgian candle sconces, details such as the generous drip trays and strap-and-rivet backplate reference the leather fixings once used in cottages and inns. Simple, practical and beautifully proportioned, the Smugglers sits just as comfortably in a cosy country kitchen as it does in a Victorian townhouse - a classic wall light made to last.

Born in Suffolk, shaped by making. Jim Lawr Born in Suffolk, shaped by making.

Jim Lawrence began in 1994 on a small farm. Alongside rearing pigs and cows, Jim set up a forge in one of the outbuildings, making practical pieces for friends and neighbours. What started as a small run of candlesticks, sold at fairs and markets, soon grew as customers looked for well-made fixtures using natural materials.

From those early days on the farm to British manufacturing today, our focus has stayed the same: thoughtful design, honest materials and customers at the centre of it all.

The warmth of our beeswax finish works naturally alongside deep wooden tones and forest-green walls, creating a quiet, confident look.
