We feel it only natural to embrace our British heritage when it comes to our products. We live in a place of such historical richness where inspiration is all around, constantly influencing our design choices whether through architecture, colour or age-old manufacturing techniques.
Still based on the farm where the business began over 20 years ago, Jim and Sheena are well versed in the landscape of rural Suffolk. In Spring, the familiar sight of Cow Parsley is laced through the hedgerows, dancing its way down the bumpy country lane customers once travelled down to find us.
We’ve created a new addition to this popular collection in a pretty Plaster Pink. This dusky pastel is perfect atop our brass lighting as shade, to plump as a cushion on a sofa or bed, or to fit as curtains or blinds. A must-have earthy, grown-up pink is a delicate update for those who lean into neutral styling but are still after an impactful refresh.
Grown up pinks are perfect for offsetting other colours like teals and greys whilst adding a blush of warmth to the room. Shown here on our dainty Hanson Library light, our classic candle shades have an easy to use clip-on fitting, suitable for all of our wall lights that have a candle bulb fitting.
Known for its versatility, cotton is one of the most commonly used fabrics for lamp shade as it is lightweight, durable and has a softness that is ideal for diffusing light evenly around a room. Our cow parsley has a relatively large weave that gives it a wonderful texture akin to linen. It is uniform appearance and brings a rustic and understated beauty for a laid-back kitchen, living room or bedroom. This shade is our 13cm Pendant French Drum Shade, designed to fit with our down-facing wall lights like the beautiful Carrick.
Our larger Medium French Drum Shades add a slightly larger silhouette than our clip-on options, beautifully framing our Brooke wall light and bringing a uniform output that is great for washing your walls with ambient lighting. This pretty shade is also available with a pendant fitting so you can suspend from the ceiling in bedrooms and living areas with a pendant lampholder.
Adding a decorative cushion or two is a quick and easy way to invigorate your bedroom or living room with colour and texture. Small additions like this can have a larger impact than you may think, helping to freshen up a sofa, bed, armchair or home office with a contrasting fabric or beautiful blend of colour.
