The Raydon Wall Lights look super in Justin’s Cloakroom

During October, we were thrilled to read a fantastic article about interior designer Justin van Breda’s beautiful London town house. We couldn’t help but notice rather a lot of our lighting!

Justin grew up in the Cape Province of South Africa and this has inspired certain aspects of his home. On the whole, Justin’s home feels both contemporary and period, modern but without losing the conservation of the building’s traditional features. Justin very kindly said, ’I like the style of Jim Lawrence products and feel they suit my home really well. They are great quality and I am really attracted to the fact that they are made in the U.K.’

If you look very closely at the top of the previous image, you will see a couple of wall lights that look very similar to our Club Wall Light but with a slight bespoke re-design. Here Justin had asked us to modify our Club Wall Light to fit just perfectly into the design and proportions of his kitchen. We love to help our customers find the perfect product and regularly hand craft bespoke items to a customer’s specification.

The perfect exterior of a London townhouse

We love the look of Justin’s cloakroom – the mix of the panelled wall and dark wood of the mirror suit the nickel of our Raydon Wall Light well. We think the whole feel of the cloakroom is very clean but traditional.

We also spotted three of our outdoor lights. Lighting the front door are two of our Peacock Lanterns in our Matt Black finish. These lanterns are hand made from solid brass and then the brass is either antiqued or paint finished in Matt Black or Plain Ivory. Illuminating the left side of the steps is our Granary Wall Light in Antiqued Brass. Again this is hand crafted from solid brass and then antiqued.

Justin’s Stepped Frame Mirror and X Console

Take a look at Justin’s website http://www.j-v-b.com/ for more of Justin’s style inspiration. We particularly like the Stepped Frame Mirror and the X Console from Justin’s bespoke furniture collection. We think they look fantastic by his front door – a great welcoming view when you enter Justin’s home.
